The club will be training two days at the Huron Point Sporstman Club. Thursday July 2, 2015 starting at 5:00PM. This will be a regular training session for the dogs. There will also be a training session Friday, July 3, 2015 in the morning at 10:00AM doing work with young dogs. We will be doing drill work and marking. We will be having club training tomorrow, Thursday May 7th, at Rattle Run Farms starting around 5 pm until dark. Rattle Run Farms is located at 7103 Gratiot, which is the southeast corner of Gratiot and Rattle Run rd. Enter off Rattle Run and drive slowly by the barn and house due to the many Beagles running around. The cost will be $5 a vehicle to use the property, and you can pay me. We should be in the back, up the hill after you cross the stream, and to the left. Hope to see you there.
Just a reminder that there will be a cleanup at Wetzel State Recreation Area on Saturday April 25, 2015 starting at 9:00AM. Meet at the parking lot by the Radio Control Air Field. Dress for the weather. There will be a light lunch following the work at the park. This is the area we have our club hunt test so try to come and help out.

The Friends of Wetzel State Recreation Area is hosting a spaghetti dinner on March 28 at the Huron Pointe Sportsman Association, 35800 E. Twenty Eight Mile Road, Lenox Mich. 48050. The event is from 6:00PM to 8:30 PM. Tickets at the door are $10.00 which includes spaghetti, salad, bread, desert and soft drink or water. Cash Bar. There will also be a live and silent auction. We do use the area for our hunt test and training. This would be a great way to show support to the Friends of Wetzel.
